While you were asleep: Africa Energy serves an ace on (out of Africa) Oil Week

Africa Oil Week 2021, originally scheduled from 1-5 November in Cape Town, is no longer to be held on African soil, reports the Heartland blogsite. AOW said on its website that it has after “careful evaluation of government guidelines and consultation with our customers”, decided to move the event to Dubai and reschedule it for 8-11 November.

The shock announcement was met with an ace from Africa Energy Chamber, which announced the first-ever African Energy Week (AEW) in Cape Town on the same weekend –  9-12 November 2021. AEW said that the four-day interactive conference replacing Africa Oil Week seeks to “unite industry stakeholders, international speakers and movers and shakers from the African oil and gas sector”.
