JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – South Africa’s manufacturing output slumped 8.9% year on year in October, after expanding by a revised 0.7% in September, the statistics agency said on Thursday.
Factory production was down 5.9% month on month in October but up 0.9% in the three months to the end of October compared with the previous three months, Statistics South Africa said.
