(Reuters) – One person was killed and 14 were injured in a shooting at a vigil near Houston, Texas, on Sunday, the county sheriff said.
A large crowd had gathered for a “celebration of life” when a vehicle approached and someone in it opened fire, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said on Twitter.
Of the 14 injured, three were in critical condition, the sheriff said.
The shooting happened in the 1400 block of North Market Loop in Baytown, where a vigil for another shooting victim was being held, according to the Houston Chronicle.
