PARIS (Reuters) – Veolia on Tuesday said its takeover bid for rival Suez is due to end on Jan. 7, a date set by France’s financial watchdog AMF.
The French waste and water management companies won EU antitrust approval on Tuesday for their 13 billion euro ($14.7 billion) tie-up to create a global group able to compete better against Chinese rivals.
