Kenya shilling inches down due to higher energy sector dollar demand

NAIROBI (Reuters) – Kenya’s shilling edges down on Monday due to increased dollar demand from the energy sector, traders said.

At 0800 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 113.50/70 against the dollar, compared with Friday’s closing rate of 113.40/60.
