(Bloomberg) — British Airways say “significant” technical issues that are disrupting operations and communications systems aren’t a cyberattack, and it’s working to resolve the problems.
- Back-up plans in place will allow customers to check in for flights at airports, airline says in emailed statement
- Unspecified number of Friday flights canceled as a result, BA says it will decide on Saturday operations as soon as possible
- Carrier earlier tweeted that mishap rendered it unable to address a number of customer problems
- Passengers say they can’t book flights, access website or app, board planes
