S.Korea to release 4.42 million barrels of oil reserves – ministry

SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea plans to release 4.42 million barrels of national oil reserves, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said on Saturday.

Members of the International Energy Agency (IEA) agreed on Tuesday to release 60 million barrels of oil reserves to compensate for supply disruptions following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
