JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – South Africa’s retail sales fell 0.9% year on year in February after rising by 7.7% in January, Statistics South Africa figures showed on Wednesday.
On a month-on-month basis, sales decreased 0.5%. Sales rose 3.2% in the three months to the end of February compared with the same period last year, the statistics agency said.
