BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said on Thursday that China is ready to provide “all-out effort” to North Korea’s fight against COVID-19.
The statement comes after North Korea, which shares a long border with China, confirmed on Thursday its first COVID-19 outbreak, calling it the “gravest national emergency” and ordering a national lockdown.
