JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – South Africa’s retail sales rose 1.3% year on year in March after falling 0.9% in February, Statistics South Africa figures showed on Wednesday.
On a month-on-month basis, sales decreased 0.3%. Sales rose 2.5% in the three months to the end of March compared with the same period last year, the statistics agency said.
