HONG KONG (Reuters) – A gas blast accident in China’s northern port city of Tianjin has injured 23 people including three with severe burns, state-backed Tianjin Daily reported on Tuesday.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in the Baodi district of the city, the newspaper reported.
Authorities including the municipal emergency response bureau were investigating the cause of the explosion, according to the paper.
Among the injured, 15 people with minor injuries are under observation in the hospital while five people have been discharged, the newspaper reported.
