ABIDJAN (Reuters) – Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast had reached 295,000 million tonnes by Oct. 30 since the start of the season on Oct. 1, down 21% from the same period last season, exporters estimated on Monday.
About 40,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to Abidjan port and 51,000 tonnes to San Pedro between Oct. 24 and Oct. 30 for a total of 91,000 tonnes, down from 96,000 tonnes during the same week last season.
