Ramaphosa: Solving energy crisis is a top priority – eNCA

Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of the ANC, has stated that ending blackouts and resolving the energy crisis are among the party’s top priorities during the annual ANC celebrations in Bloemfontein, eNCA reports. Ramaphosa adds that power plants require skilled and experienced personnel. The president acknowledged that load-shedding is detrimental to the nation’s economic development. He added that the government and Eskom should collaborate to ensure the return of additional units to the parastatal to end power outages. Read more here

Man City crush passive Chelsea in FA Cup – TimesLIVE

On Sunday, Manchester City defeated Chelsea 4-0 at home in the third round of the FA Cup, marking their third consecutive victory over Graham Potter’s side in less than two months, TimesLIVE reports.
