– MAKING SURE THE NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE (NHS) IS “FIT FOR THE FUTURE”

In a statement issued ahead of his speech, Starmer said he would set out the “first tangible steps” over the coming months to address the immediate crises in Britain’s state-funded National Health Service.

– REMOVING BARRIERS TO OPPORTUNITY

Starmer told BBC television he wanted to remove the barriers to opportunity for every child everywhere.

– MAKING THE UNITED KINGDOM A GREEN ENERGY SUPERPOWER

– SAFE STREETS

The party’s plans for tackling crime are expected to be outlined in the coming month, Starmer told the BBC.
