PARIS (Reuters) – French utility Suez said on Thursday it had signed deals with Uzbekistan authorities to help modernise the country’s water sector, adding that the contracts formed part of President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to the country.
Suez added that it had signed the deals in the presence of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
“Suez is proud to support the Uzbek authorities in improving access to water services for their population and contribute to local economic development with resilient and innovative solutions,” said Suez Chairman and CEO Sabrina Soussan.
