State asset regulator for China’s Shenzhen may help Vanke if needed – source

HONG KONG (Reuters) – The state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People’s Government of the Shenzhen Municipality (Shenzhen SASAC), a significant stakeholder in property developer China Vanke, has sufficient cash and tools to help Vanke if it faces “extreme conditions”, said a source attending a meeting of investors and financial institutions discussing the developer’s financial condition.
