(Reuters) – International Consolidated Airlines Group on Friday denied a Wall Street Journal report that said the group had warned Spanish airline Air Europa’s customers of a personal data leak.
“IAG confirmed it has not acquired Air Europa and would never email their customers directly. It is a matter for Air Europa and not IAG,” the group said in a statement.
Air Europa confirmed in a statement that it had sent an email to its customers.
