NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India’s goods and services tax (GST) council will discuss rationalisation of the GST rates and brackets in its next meeting, expected to be held on Sept. 9, the finance minister said on Tuesday.
The government has said that it wants change GST rates and reduce the number of brackets, referring to tax rates for different categories, under a tax regime introduced in 2017.
