NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India said on Tuesday it was working to create a nationwide registry of suspected cyber criminals, and that it would crack down on them by deploying about 5,000 “cyber commandos” over the next five years.
The “commandos” would be a team of experts working with police and regional authorities, Home Minister Amit Shah told a conference.
