LONDON (Reuters) – Former NatWest CEO Alison Rose has joined Mishcon de Reya as an advisor, the British law firm said on Tuesday, with a focus on its equity, diversity and inclusion strategy.
Rose resigned from NatWest in July last year after admitting to a “serious error of judgment” in discussing former Brexit party leader Nigel Farage’s relationship with the bank with a BBC journalist.
The bank had faced intense scrutiny from media and politicians over a decision by its private banking arm Coutts to close Farage’s accounts.
Tracing its roots back to a firm founded in 1937, Mishcon de Reya is one of Britain’s most well-known law firms, representing Diana, Princess of Wales in her divorce in 1995.
