MADRID (Reuters) – Spain’s Santander on Monday said its UK unit postponed the publication of its third quarter results set for Oct. 29 after a London court last week ruled that motor finance brokers must fully inform customers about commissions when taking out car loans.
Santander UK, which is one of a number of key providers of motor finance in Britain, did not expect any material impact on the group’s financial position from the Financial Conduct Authority’s review regarding motor finance commissions and associated complaints, a spokesperson said.
