AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – BP plans to sell all 310 of its petrol stations in the Netherlands, a spokesman for the British oil and gas company said on Tuesday, confirming a report in Dutch newspaper AD.
BP did not disclose any price expectations but said that investment needed for growth in the relatively small Dutch market were too high.
Rival Shell last year paid 12.3 million euros ($13.4 million) for a 15-year lease on a prime service station location along the A2 highway between Amsterdam and Utrecht.
BP aims to finalise the sale by the end of 2025, it said.
