BEIJING (Reuters) – China said on Friday it will retain anti-dumping duties on n-butanol imports originating in Taiwan, Malaysia and U.S. for a period of five years from Dec 29.
“The Ministry of Commerce ruled that if the anti-dumping measures are terminated, dumping of imported n-butanol originating in Taiwan, Malaysia and the United States to Chinese mainland may continue or reoccur, and the injury caused to Chinese mainland’s n-butanol industry may continue or reoccur,” the ministry said.
China first imposed the restriction in 2018.
