(Reuters) – Li Haslett Chen, a member of the Warner Bros. Discovery board and a member of the company’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, will resign from her positions, effective Jan. 31, 2025, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing on Monday.
Chen, who joined the board in April 2022, issued a statement saying she needed to spend more time at her company, Howl, described as a new marketplace for social media creators and brands to collaborate.
“As Howl enters a major phase of growth in 2025, I have decided to dedicate my full attention to the company,” Chen said in a statement Monday.
Chen could not immediately be reached for comment.
Warner Bros Discovery is expected to fill the vacancy on its board.
