Ugandan shilling stable on muted FX appetite

KAMPALA (Reuters) – The Ugandan shilling was stable on Tuesday, drawing support from subdued hard currency appetite from both interbank players and merchandise importers, traders.

At 0927 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,693/3,703, compared to Monday’s close of 3,695/3,705.
