BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) – Argentina’s monthly inflation rate slowed to 2.2% in January, its lowest level since mid-2020, while landing slightly below analyst estimates, data from the INDEC statistics agency showed on Thursday.
Inflation in the 12 months through January reached 84.5%, also slowing from a rate of 117.8% recorded in the previous month and in line with Reuters’ expectations.
