WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said China “played it wrong” after Beijing retaliated against new U.S. tariffs, unveiling countermeasures that included additional duties of 34% on U.S.
goods.
“China played it wrong, they panicked – the one thing they cannot afford to do!,” Trump wrote in all caps in post on his social media platform.
