German inflation confirmed at 2.1% in May

BERLIN (Reuters) -German inflation eased to 2.1% in May, the federal statistics office said on Friday, confirming preliminary data.

German consumer prices, harmonised to compare with other European Union countries, had risen by 2.2% year-on-year in April.
