AMSTERDAM (Reuters) -Lashers at the port of Rotterdam will continue their strike for an undefined period of time, labour union FNF said on Friday, after they rejected an offer for a wage increase made by the companies involved.
The strike has created a growing backlog of container ships that can’t be loaded or offloaded in Europe’s largest port in recent days.
