NEW DELHI, Dec 10 (Reuters) – Crisis-hit IndiGo will call on external technical experts to help determine the root causes that led to mass-flight cancellations last week, the airline’s chairman said on Wednesday, adding that the company did not attempt to bypass new pilot rest and duty rules.
In his first public remarks since the disruptions last week, IndiGo chair Vikram Singh Mehta added that the cancellations were a “blemish” on the airline’s clean record.
