NAIROBI (Reuters) -Kenya’s shilling strengthened slightly on Friday, helped by dollar inflows from remittances although the gains were limited by increased foreign-currency demand from general goods importers, traders said.
At 0639 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 128.80/129.30 per dollar, compared with Thursday’s closing rate of 129.00/129.50.
