KAMPALA (Reuters) -The Ugandan shilling was broadly stable against the dollar on Wednesday, although was under mild pressure as importers in the manufacturing and energy sectors sought foreign exchange, traders said.
At 0845 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,637/3,647, compared to Monday’s close of 3,635/3,645.
Markets were closed on Tuesday for a national holiday.
