CAIRO (Reuters) – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Morocco’s GDP to grow at around 3% over the next few years, the fund said in a statement on Wednesday.
The fund said, after it concluded an assessment, it predicts Morocco’s economy will rebound from the 2020 recession.
The IMF added that Morocco’s fiscal policy should be anchored by a credible medium-term macro-fiscal framework and underpinned by a comprehensive reform of the tax system and a systematic review of government spending.
