France’s Credit Agricole has 6.7 billion euros exposure to Russia, Ukraine

PARIS (Reuters) -French bank Credit Agricole said its total exposure to Russia and Ukraine amounted to 6.7 billion euros ($7.28 billion) and said any impact from the conflict and sanctions would not impact its dividend.

“The evaluation of the situation has no consequences upon the distribution of the 2021 Credit Agricole S.A. dividend that will be submitted to the shareholders meeting on March 24,” it said in a statement, saying its exposure was of “limited size”.

Credit Agricole said total exposure in Russia and Ukraine represented approximately 0.6% of its total commercial lending portfolio as of Dec. 31, 2021.
