TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan will stop importing Russian coal earlier than currently planned and seek to diversify its energy supplies, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said on Thursday.
He gave no further details.
He also said he and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz agreed to take a resolute stance on the Ukraine crisis and to oppose any attempt to change the status quo in the South and East China Seas.
