BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s aviation regulator said on Thursday that air passenger traffic in April plunged 84.6% from a year earlier to 7.88 million trips, and was only 14.8% of the pre-COVID level in 2019.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China provided the figures at a news conference.
