Makhudu Sefara argues that the DA and EFF’s objections to law professor Richard Calland being included on a three-person panel that will determine whether there is a prima facie case against Cyril Ramaphosa regarding the Phala Phala robbery is nonsense. The DA and EFF argue that Calland is also a political commentator and has been favourable to Ramaphosa in the past, rendering him incapable of being independent but Sefara argues that no one can be truly 100% objective.
