Boeing ‘standing down’ from debut crewed Starliner flight

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Boeing Co will “stand down” from preparations for its first crewed Starliner test flight to space, which was planned for July, after the company discovered a flammable tape material and issues with the spacecraft’s parachutes, a Boeing official said on Thursday.
