(Reuters) – China may allow banks to offer unsecured short-term loans to qualified property developers for the first time, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday.
As part of a package of new measures to support the struggling real estate industry, regulators are considering allowing banks to issue ‘working capital loans’ to some developers, the report said citing people familiar with the matter.
