LONDON (Reuters) – British finance minister Jeremy Hunt said figures showing Britain was no longer in recession were proof that the economy has turned a corner.
“It has been a difficult few years, but today’s growth figures are proof that the economy is returning to full health for the first time since the pandemic,” he said in a statement on Friday.
