(Reuters) – French polling giant Ipsos said on Thursday it had decided not to submit a binding offer for Kantar Media, days after saying it had begun talks over a possible deal.
Ipsos confirmed on Monday it was in talks with Kantar for a potential acquisition of its TV ratings data business.
“After careful review of a potential acquisition of Kantar Media, Ipsos has, at this time, decided not to submit a binding offer,” the French group said in a short statement.
