Eagles’ Graham available for Super Bowl

The Philadelphia Eagles have been given a pre-Super Bowl boost with defensive end Brandon Graham in contention to face the Kansas City Chiefs after he was taken off the injured reserve list by the team on Saturday. The 36-year-old, who was drafted by the Eagles in 2010, tore his triceps in a week 12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in November. While it was initially believed that Graham — who was placed on injured reserve and underwent surgery — would be out for the season, he has continued to work with hope of being able to feature in the big game.He has participated in all practice sessions this week and his status is officially listed as ‘questionable’.Graham delivered 3.5 sacks, six tackles for loss, two pass break-ups and a forced fumble in the 11 games he played this season. His return would bring some valuable veteran experience to the Eagles defensive line as they come up against Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.Graham, who won the Super Bowl with the Eagles in the 2017-2018 campaign, had indicated that this would be his final season in the NFL but has yet to fully confirm his retirement.
