India says it successfully test-fired locally developed intermediate range ballistic missile

NEW DELHI (Reuters) -India said it had successfully test-fired “Agni 5”, its locally developed intermediate range ballistic missile, from the test range in the eastern state of Odisha on Wednesday. “The launch validated all operational and technical parameters,” India’s defence ministry said in a statement.
