Stage 6 load shedding every night until further notice – News24
Eskom announced on Tuesday evening that load shedding will be moved to Stage 6, beginning at 21:00 and lasting until 05:00 on Wednesday, News24 reports.
This follows the tripping of seven units on Tuesday. Three units have returned to operation, but the restoration of three more has been postponed. In addition, Unit 1 of Matla Power Station will be shut down in order to repair a leaking boiler tube. Read more here

South Africa’s new SA20 league kicked off at Newlands in Cape Town on Tuesday, when Jofra Archer claimed his first wickets in in 20 months. According to EWN, MI Indians’ eight-wicket, bonus-point victory over Paarl Royals was facilitated by the England fast bowler’s three wickets for 27 runs. Tuesday’s third delivery from Archer, who was bowling first change, resulted in Wihan Lubbe being caught attempting a reckless slog. In his fourth and final over, he dismissed David Miller and Ferisco Adams with successive balls while bowling at more than 140 km/h, EWN reports. Read more here

Coachella festival just revealed that Uncle Waffles and DJ Kyle Watson will be performing on the 14th and 21st of April, the festival’s opening weekends, TimesLIVE reports. Other prominent local performers, like DBN Gogo, Major League DJs, DJ Black Coffee, and Moonchild Sanelly, have previously performed at the festival. DJ Kyle Watson went on a major US tour last year, and Uncle Waffles performed at the Global Citizen festival in Ghana. Read more here
