South Africa producer inflation down to 0.5% y/y in March

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) -South Africa’s producer inflation slowed to 0.5% year on year in March from 1.0% in February, statistics agency data showed on Thursday. Kenyan shilling loses ground after bond demand bounce

(Reuters) -Kenya’s shilling lost some ground against the dollar on Thursday, amid muted foreign exchange appetite after bouncing higher the previous day as offshore investors sought domestic bonds, traders said.
